Hailing from Evergreen, Colorado, Katie brings a bit of unabashed Colorado charm to all of her patients. In 2005, Katie graduated from University of Northern Colorado with a double major in speech pathology and audiology. Katie became inspired on a bright new path after finding that acupuncture and holistic medicine helped with life long digestion issues. In 2012, she earned her Masters in Chinese Medicine from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Completing an intense three-year accelerated program, including 2,850 hours of education with 1,000 hours of clinical experience. Katie is accredited through The National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM®). The NCCAOM is the only national organization that validates competency in the practice of acupuncture and Oriental medicine (AOM) through professional certification. When not striving to keep her patients happy and healthy, Katie enjoys spending time with her family.

What have been your career highlights (so far)? Hands down every time I help a mom get pregnant and safely into her second trimester. How lucky am I to aid women with the tools to conceive? Nothing brings me so much joy.
What’s your goal in life? To be forever growing as a wife, mom and practitioner. To live a life that warms my heart; to help, to support and to love. I want to travel, experience belly laughs everyday, drink wine, backpack and stay true to who I am.
Favorite movie? Juno.
#1 bucket list trip? China (oh and it will happen!).
Favorite thing in the world? My boys (John, Weston, Charlie), my brothers, my sister besties... oh and of course coffee and wine!
Biggest challenge? Balancing being a mom and running my own business.
