What is Intuitive Eating and How Can We Help?

Welcome, this is the first step into repairing your relationship with food and body! Hi I’m Katie a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and Health at Every Size (HAES) Provider, Acupuncturist and Herbalist in Denver specializing in all things Women’s Health, hormones, cycles and fertility. My core belief is every body deserves dignity and respect. I treat the root cause of imbalances, listen to symptoms, problem solve labs all regardless of body size. Together we find peace with food, trust the body and work on health systemically. I walk patients through how to advocate for quality of care, especially in the fertility and women's health world.

The process of Intuitive Eating is a practice, which honors both physical and mental health. Intuitive Eating is aligned with Health at Every Size, because the pursuit of intentional weight loss is a failed paradigm, which creates health problems: including weight stigma, weight cycling, and eating disorders. bodies deserve dignity and respect. Intuitive Eating is a weight-inclusive, evidence-based model with a validated assessment scale and over 100 studies to date.
