Paleo Double Chocolate Almond Banana Bread

The weekend is here and one of my best friends is coming to stay. I whipped this up really quick while cleaning and getting ready. Can’t wait to share this over coffee tomorrow and chat about life. Food is so exciting these days, we can be healthy and enjoy it! So many great easy ways to shift your diet in a positive direction. Enjoy this grain free, refined sugar free and paleo bread with your next brunch!

Ingredients:

⁃ 2 1/2 very ripe bananas

⁃ 1/3 cup coconut sugar

⁃ 1/2 cup coco powder

⁃ 2 teaspoons baking powder

⁃ 1/2 cup almond butter, melted

⁃ 2 eggs

⁃ 2 cups almond flour

⁃ 1 cup chocolate chips


Preheat oven at 350. Combine 2 mashed bananas, eggs, coconut sugar. and 1/4 cup almond butter. Add flour, coco powder and baking powder. Fold in chocolate chips saving some for topping. Pour into lines or greased bread pan. Drizzle with 1/4 cup almond butter, top with a few chocolate chips and slice 1/2 banana. Bake for 35-40 mins.
